What the code takes off, and what you need to get one

YesStyle's own sitewide promotions routinely beat this, so the code is worth having because it applies on top of whatever sale is running, not because it saves much alone. On a €60 basket the extra 5% is roughly €3, about what you save by crossing the free shipping threshold.

You cannot generate it yourself. Only Elite Club members at Bronze, Silver or Gold hold a Rewards Code, and checked on 28 August 2026 the Elite Club page sets Bronze at any single order of at least US$1 after coupons, Silver at US$100 of cumulative spending and Gold at US$500. The gate is low, but the code still has to come from someone who has already bought something, so no public listing can produce this discount whatever it claims. The friend who sends you theirs is credited YS Points worth what you saved, at 100 points to US$1. The 2% is the part people forget: it keeps working as long as you order through the same link, so save the link.

Who you are buying from, and where the box comes from

YesStyle is the consumer storefront of YesAsia Holdings Limited, listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 2209, with the shop operated by YESSTYLE.COM LTD. A listed company files audited results and has named directors answerable for them, which is a different proposition from the anonymous dropship stores crowding this category. Revenue for the year to 31 December 2025 was about US$501.5 million, reported in YesAsia Holdings' annual results for that year, announced on 27 March 2026. There is no European warehouse: every order leaves one facility in Hong Kong, and the delivery windows, the tax treatment and the return address all follow from that.

On authenticity, YesStyle calls itself the authorised distributor of over 400 Korean brands, which is unaudited self description, and distributing is not the same as a brand appointing you its retailer. The brand side checks out better than the marketing deserves: on 16 August 2026 COSRX listed YesStyle in the international section of its authorised seller list, and Beauty of Joseon named it among global sellers on its authorised retailers page. Both pages name rival stores too, and neither covers the fashion and homeware half of the catalogue, so if one brand matters, read that brand's own stockist page.

Getting the parcel to Europe, and how slow that really is

YesStyle states the arithmetic plainly: delivery time is product availability plus the shipping time of your method. Each item carries its own availability window and nothing leaves Hong Kong until the slowest line is ready, so one item flagged at nine to twelve days holds the whole order before the shipping clock starts.

Choice of method depends on destination, and smaller EU markets get less of it. With Latvia selected, checked on 15 August 2026 against a YesStyle rate table dated 7 August 2026, exactly one was offered: Standard post at 12 to 18 working days, free on orders of €48 or more and €4.60 below that. That is two and a half to four calendar weeks before availability is added. Larger markets sometimes see Express or Expedited via UPS, FedEx, DHL or EMS. Standard travels as eParcel or registered post and, in YesStyle's wording, may or may not carry a tracking number. An undeliverable parcel is reshipped only if you pay a handling fee plus shipping, even when the order qualified for free delivery.

Import VAT, the €150 IOSS ceiling, and the duty rule that changed in July 2026

This decides whether the order costs what the checkout said, and YesStyle handles the ordinary case well. Checked on 28 August 2026, its EU VAT help page states that VAT is charged on all orders shipping to EU countries regardless of payment currency, that prices shown on product pages and at checkout include VAT, and that VAT is added automatically to the shipping fee. It publishes a per country table running from 17% in Luxembourg to 27% in Hungary, with Latvia at 21%. Set your delivery country before browsing, because the prices you see change with it.

The mechanism is the EU Import One Stop Shop, and its ceiling is hard: consignments with an intrinsic value of €150 or less, meaning the goods alone, excluding shipping, insurance and separately shown taxes. Above that the scheme cannot apply, so the parcel clears customs normally, the carrier collects import VAT at the door and usually adds a clearance fee that nothing prepaid will cover. The limit is per consignment rather than per order, and YesStyle splits orders often, so a large order may arrive as two compliant parcels. Do not engineer that yourself, since artificially split consignments can be treated as one. Keep each order under €150 of goods instead.

The change most guides miss: on 1 July 2026 the EU abolished duty relief for consignments up to €150 and replaced it with a temporary flat customs duty of €3 per item under Council Regulation (EU) 2026/382, implementing rules published on 8 June 2026 and running to 1 July 2028. Per item means per tariff classification, so five identical mask boxes attract one €3 charge while a cleanser plus a hair clip attracts two. The declarant pays, meaning the seller or IOSS holder, with consumers liable only in residual cases. So €150 is now the VAT ceiling, not the point where duty begins. The caveat is that the YesStyle page listed rates and said nothing about IOSS, the ceiling or the new duty, and publishes no IOSS number. Because EU orders travel by post, the postal operator can end up as declarant and bill you the duty plus its own handling fee, so budget a few euro for a doorstep charge.

What sending something back to Hong Kong costs you

The return address is Hong Kong, and for a European buyer that one fact makes most returns uneconomic. You request a Return Merchandise Authorization within 14 days of receiving the goods, and the items must be back with YesStyle within 30 days of that number being issued. Thirty days is generous for this category, but the postage is yours: registered trackable mail to Hong Kong typically exceeds the value of a single cleanser, so a €20 item you merely dislike is not worth returning. If the item is defective or wrong, YesStyle covers return postage and reimburses it as store credit within seven days, but only if you used Air Mail or Registered Mail. Send it by courier and you pay, even when the fault was theirs.

Several categories cannot come back at any price: opened beauty products, supplements, buy-one-get-one items, clearance and lucky items, and hygiene sensitive goods such as swimwear, underwear and earrings. YesStyle also states it does not refund for allergic or adverse skin reactions. On a beauty order that is the real constraint. Break the seal on an unfamiliar serum and you own it. Refunds otherwise default to YesStyle Credit, and the cash route exists but you must ask for it: request your original payment method when you open the return.

Getting a Rewards Code and applying it

Nothing is typed in from a public listing. The Rewards Code and its matching link are generated inside a member account, and YesStyle terms name coupon sites, deal sites and paid search among channels where they may not be posted, so a code harvested from a forum can be disallowed after your order ships.

• Ask a friend who already shops at YesStyle to copy their Rewards Link or Rewards Code from their account summary.
• Open the link, or enter the code, before paying. It cannot be applied afterwards.
• Check each item availability window and push long lead times into a separate later order.
• Keep goods value under €150 so the order stays inside the checkout tax scheme.
• Save the link, since ordering through it again is what carries the 2% on future purchases.

Where orders go wrong, and what the reviews show

Checked on 16 August 2026, YesStyle's Trustpilot profile carried 4.3 out of 5 across 101,035 reviews, about 70% at five stars and 9% at one or two. Weight that rather than quoting it: YesStyle solicits reviews and runs a paid Trustpilot subscription, and of the 100 most recent English language reviews that day, 85 arrived through an invitation link. Recency testing those same 100 gave 9% at one or two stars, matching the lifetime figure, so the score is at least not propped up by better years long past.

The dominant complaint is time, specifically availability changing after payment: an item shown as available at checkout going unavailable a fortnight later while the whole parcel waits. Below that come templated support replies, missing or damaged items, and Standard post tracking that goes quiet for a week. Counterfeit allegations are conspicuously rare. One further complaint is only visible once the box is open: YesStyle publishes no minimum remaining shelf life at dispatch, and many Korean products print only a manufacturing date in year, month, day order, so check printed dates before breaking seals.

The customs refund almost nobody claims, and its EU sized hole

YesStyle publishes something most cross border retailers do not: a policy reimbursing customs charges billed to you on delivery. Checked on 28 August 2026, it covers customs taxes, import duties, goods and services taxes, value added taxes and brokerage fees on orders under US$1,000, claimed within 30 days of your customs receipt.

Then read the exclusions, which remove the case a European buyer actually has. Sales taxes, GST, VAT and PST are excluded for a named list of regions including the EU, the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland. So the one charge an EU shopper realistically faces, import VAT on a consignment that went over the ceiling, is precisely what the policy will not reimburse. Charges for unclaimed or returned shipments are excluded too, and refunds arrive as store credit rather than cash. Two hard rules sit alongside it: YesStyle will not under declare a parcel's contents or value, and refusing delivery over a customs charge forfeits both refund and reshipment.

Pros, cons, and who should bother

What it is genuinely good at: breadth, and a safety net that exists. The catalogue spans beauty, fashion and homeware in a way its beauty only rivals do not, EU prices include VAT so the checkout total is normally the whole cost, and you can get money back to your card rather than credit if you ask. It is an audited listed company, which matters more than any review score when sending money abroad.

What is genuinely wrong with it: it is slow, and unpredictably so, because one line item freezes the order for weeks after you have paid. Returns are effectively theoretical below about €40, opened cosmetics cannot go back at all, and support is email only across a time zone.

Use it if you are restocking Asian beauty you already know suits you, can wait a month, and keep each order modest. Look elsewhere if you need something by a date, are trying an unfamiliar active you might want to return, or are buying an expensive device where a fault means shipping it back at your own cost.
